I always vowed I would never apologizes on my blog for how long it has been between posts. But, I fell really, really guilty. I always know that my life basically goes into survival mode during play season, and of course blogging in one of the first things to go. Along with baking, reading, having people over, cleaning, my desire to cook, grading and basically everything other then sleeping, working on stuff for the play, teaching and keeping myself basically hygienic.
So that is just one more reason why Easter is so wonderful. Not only does it mean the salvation of my soul, but it also means mandatory days off of play practice and school. Though our long weekend did get eaten up by a little senior class trip to Chicago, but that is why there is Easter Monday! So, now that I have my home in a little bit of order again, I decided to post, only to realize that I have nothing to post. Really, I have no life right now.
The last week, I was at school really late, spent over 20 hours on a bus with 37 high school seniors, got way less then the amount of sleep I need to function normally, became really sick of people telling me how tired I looked, was reminded of how much I really don't like large cities and turned into a Popsicle at a baseball game. Now, don't get me wrong, it was fun, but I am looking forward to a normal Easter break next year with no class trip in there. I did have a great time being surprised by some kids in a positive way, spending two hours in a book store and finding a great book of poetry, helping out some people who really need help, eat some great food, and became thankful again for this life I have been blessed with.
I guess that it is probably wrong to say that I don't have a life because I do. Maybe it is not as fantastic or exciting as I would like it to be, but it is the life I have been given and I should take it for granted.

I've been on a kick for blogs lately because when we move to Michigan we think we should start a lil' site so people can keep up with us if they want to and if they don't- no pressure-
But- what for a name? Aaron wants to use the first and quickly rejected headline that I came up with for a newspaper article- a bigger mystery than what's for dinner? (I thought it sounded good- it was a about a supper murder mystery) but I'm not so sure... I guess we can't steal Talen's Tales? (Thompsons Tales? hmmm... nice ring...)
