I found this book by Addison Bevere thoughtful, challenging and timely. I heard Bevere interviewed on a few podcasts I listen too and I was really intrigued by what I heard and I was excited to read his book when I was given the chance. I appreciated his deep look at scripture, his personal stories and his candid reflection on his own life and growth. I liked that this is a book that I could share with my husband as it is a book not just for men, but for all followers of Christ. I was challenged to think about my own actions and how I label myself and others. I am encouraged and motivated by the challenge of this book and I think you will be too.
