The Girl Who Could Breathe Under Water by Erin Bartels

This is my first book by Erin Bartels and I loved it! I grew up in Michigan, so the setting was spot on. I loved the characters and how deep and complex they were. I could understand where they were coming from. It is isn't a preachy book, but is certainly preaches. I can't wait to dive into Erin's backlist!
